After the 70 days, part 34; “…hanging with their mates, waiting for the surfer-horny girls”

Picture this; beautiful beaches, hot surfers, cheap delicious food, fine jewelry and fresh coconuts. And lets not forget, I’m single.

I’m sitting close to one of the most known surf beaches in the neighborhood, eating my breakfast and between every bite I’m distracted by the tanned, athletic build surfers, with their nicely painted short boards. You feel me?! And yet, in the past 5 weeks, I have only hooked up with one of them, just for one night.

Because after sunset, something very disappointing happens. They stop surfing, take or don’t take a shower, put clothes on and start drinking at the local hot spot. The hot surfer reappears as overdone hipster, shipper man, Matthew McConaughey-wannabe or even worse, the Bintang-tank top Bali tourist. In this phase, they will be hanging with their mates, waiting for the surfer-horny girls to come up to them.

In case that doesn’t happen (but it happens a lot), they find their joy in drinking more. A lot more. And by the time they’re drunk and haven’t been approached by a chick yet, their hunt starts. They will walk around the pub out of balance.., looking sweaty and unappealing while they try to hook up with the prettiest girls left. Obviously, most of the times, these attempts fail, so they just go one step down the ladder and so on, until they find a girl drunk enough so she doesn’t notice the beer stains on the shirt, the sweaty armpits and moist backs and only think it’s the accent why she doesn’t understand a word he’s saying. Shamefully enough, there’re always enough of these girls around. So the chase comes easy on these dudes.

Like I admitted, I’m guilty of giving one of those dicks the pleasure of sleeping with me. But that night, I found myself needing it. And luckily, he was the best out of the worst And it was satisfying for that time. Though as I could have expected; douche will be douche.
